i use Prismacolor pencils myself, in my own coloring. They're very easy to use, and the colors are beautiful. My grandkids also love them, because they're what i use. I can't afford to have the kids use them tho, so we tried out this scholar set. Because the cores are so much stronger, they hold up better under kid-use. When you find these on sale, go for it. Im very happy with them, and so are the grandkids.

These colored pencils do flow much smoother than their cheaper counterparts. Nice for folks on a tighter budget.
