Walker Edison 43” Mid-Century Modern Gallery-Top 5-Drawer Dresser, Caramel

Beautiful piece, but difficult to pit together, could not get one piece to fit in, so drawers look crooked

I bought a couple of the nine drawer dressers because the sale was so good and because they are real wood and a great aesthetic. I built the first one and it took me almost 6 hours. It says to only use a manual screwdriver, but if you trust yourself and have really good control with a power, screwdriver or drill, I highly recommend it. Assembly is extremely difficult, and I am currently building the second one, seven months after I built the first one, because the first one was so hard I could not even bring myself to try to build the second. The feet are so incredibly difficult to attach, that if I didn't have a giant heap of pieces in my living room, and a lot of the dresser already constructed, I would probably have rage quit and thrown it in a fire. That's how hard it is. Unless there's something I'm missing, because I have built a ton of furniture, and know how to use tools and built things pretty darn well, but this dresser is giving me a run for my money. I will say, that if you can muscle your way through it, the dresser is really nice, and it looks great. One thing I would maybe recommend doing is taking some kind of sandpaper or something and rubbing the very sharp corners of the handles, because I've definitely poked myself a couple times with them on my completed dresser. Again, really, really nice, super freaking heavy, great dresser, but my wrists and arm muscles are cramping and about to give out trying to finish building it. I can't believe I bought three and still have to build the third one. I might cry. I would tell myself to drink some wine while I do it, but there are 1 million pieces and this dresser allows for zero mistakes. Luckily everything has been lined up pretty well so far, as far as the pre-drilled holes go and stuff like that.
