An OBD scanner is a MUST have for any car owner in my opinion . I can easily hook up to vehicle computer and get the codes triggering the check engine light. Often the fix is so simple like an oxygen sensor. Save yourself loads of money and just look at a you tube video on oxygen sensor fixes.
