Good pasta sauce

I have been using Great Value brand pasta sauces for quite awhile. They taste very good and it has the right thickness for me and the dishes I make. This particular time I used it in a slow cooker recipe and the guests I served the dish to loved the sauce. It is a very tasty sauce that costs less than name brand. I think you will be pleased with the taste and the savings.

I grew up in a Sicilian neighborhood, and became a popular, award-winning chef. Eventually I opened my own restaurant and became known for Sicilian cuisine. Especially my traditional tomato meat sauce. But I don't always feel like opening a bunch of cans and cooking a sauce for three hours. These jars of sauce are cheap, and a great combination of tomatoes and seasoning. I add a little more garlic and basil and use them for chicken cacciatore, spaghetti and meatballs, seafood, pizza, bolognese… anything that needs tomato sauce. I highly recommend it for everyday cooking.

Sometimes you want more sauce for your spaghetti/pasta dish but a 2nd jar is too much. This is the perfect size to fix that sauce shortage (LOL). It seems to be a VERY red sauce. I have used other brands that aren't as 'bright' in color than this one. Hubby loves it.
