i made chicken and chicken today. i read the information about this dutch oven, before i cooked in it. i had another brand years ago experience that chipped inside. i wanted thus ine to last. It is an anazong dutch iven. The 5.5 qt is perfect. shou i d feed 4 people. My chicken and Dumplings are delicious. I yurned the burner too low heat after it cooked awhike on medium heat. i went out on my patio for a break. i soon heard a boiling sound and rushed in. The new electric ives glass top tend to cook hotter on low. i took the lid off fast and it was definitely boiling. I was so happy it did not boil over! The lid wiorks great and im so happy with my purchase. i will enjoy this dutch oven for year's and highly recommend it. i will say i am old and it us a little heavy to pickup, especially full of food. i slide if iff the stove on the counter top. And if you buy this dont wash the dutch oven until its cool.
