Great Blu-Ray CAD Approved Graphics Card

I do some CAD (computer aided design) at home for my work, so I needed a better videocard. Upgraded to this workstation graphics card because it is CAD approved for solidworks 3D and because it will also run Blu-Ray (updated the media drive in tower). It runs blu-ray just fine with the software that came with the drive. Videocard comes with driver disk. When it is powered up it defaults to standard resolution then after loading the drivers the video card reboots and you can see the change in resolution immediately. Then went to AMD/ATI website to see if driver was up to date. It needed updating. (The usual with nearly all new installs.) Card has DVI and 2 displayport outputs. My HD monitor has SVGA and HDMI inputs. So, with the included adapter converted DVI to SVGA and pulled out SVGA cable to connect. Meanwhile, looked at displayport to HDMI adapters and found it was simplier to purchase displayport to HDMI cable ($10.50) online. Look around, saw some sites selling adapters and cable at 6 times the price ($65+). There was a slight improvement with the HDMI cable over the SVGA. Card also comes with displayport to DVI adapter. Card has built in 2 display capability I am not using at home. I cannot say if card is Blu-Ray 3D compatible since my monitor is not 3D blu-ray compatible and solidworks 3D is a virtual 3D display. Graphics are good and does great with blu-ray.
