I took all the pieces out to get it ready to build later this week as we newly moved in and have a lot to do. The wood quality is nice, all smooth even around the edges and it has a good feel and weight to it. Not cheap or particleboard junk. Only a few screws and it looks simple to do. It even came with a small little leveler, which is a nice touch. However you should always have a good one on hand. The little bar across could be used upside down to hang stuff also, good versatility. A
