It's held up well with a 55lb boy on top and my 2year old 30lb youngest on bottom. Granted it does move a bit when someone gets in top bunk if they're not curtious enough to think how much they move the bed getting in…but it's held up well!! Assembled it myself by putting the top bunk together with the legs and pins in. But it's possible!

Simple to assemble and sturdy

Very sturdy and simple to put together. Took some time so expect a few hours if you are alone. We bought these for my college-aged daughter to come home during the holidays and share with her brother while we converted her room to our 2nd guest room.
