At first you may think that the pieces are too large to be able to be able to thaw and then fry. I've fried these pieces before but it is absolutely necessary to slow fry and turn the meat over frequently so that it is thoroughly cooked down to the bone, but I tried baking them recently and they turned out so good. I unthawed them for about an hour to make sure they were thoroughly unthawed because the chicken legs are large like they've been on steroids or something. I seasoned them with salt, pepper, and meat tenderizer on both sides and placed in a 9 x 12 plan with vegetable oil on the bottom of the pan. I had preheated the oven to 300 degrees and let them bake for an hour. About halfway through the baking process I placed some water in the pan so the chicken wouldn't stick and pored some barbeque sauce over them. That chicken was so tender and moist like the best I had ever tasted. It was really delicious. I would say that these are the best for baking, not to mention the price for the size of the bag.
