McCormick Slow Cooker Barbecue Pulled Pork Seasoning Mix, 1.6 oz Packet

I got a fresh pork loin and cut it to put into crock and cooked it for 4 hrs on high till i could pull it apart. Then put seasoning mix in as directed and let cook for another hour. We ate this pulled pork on sweet hawaiian hamburger bun. It was the best pulled pork sandwich i have had in a long time. The seasoning was a little warm. I don't usually eat warm or hot seasoning, but with the sweet hawaiian bun it tones down the heat in the seasoning. I really liked this. Was a nice meal and easy to make.My husband and mother ate this the next night for supper again.

This review is for the McCormick’s Slow Cookers BBQ Pulled Pork Seasoning Packet. This was a free sample received through the Wal-mart Spark Reviewer program. I was not sure what to expect. I love the McCormick line of products. I have used many of their spices and other products for more years than I care to count. But many of the “slow cooker” packets have been disappointing. I was not disappointed with McCormick’s. It was easy to read, needed ingredients that I almost always have on hand, and very simple to make. But the big surprise was that . . . . it was delicious!! The pork was juicy. The seasoning was a very good proportion of sweet and tart. There was a little ‘heat’. I thought it was just the right amount. It was even better after it was reheated. My family really enjoyed it. In our family, after trying a new food, someone will ask “Would you eat it/order it again?” Everyone agreed this was definitely something to keep in the kitchen. This is so good; I may use this for family picnics and outings this summer.
