Choosing the right size tea maker depends on how much tea you usually brew at once.

• If you make tea just for yourself, a smaller teapot or kettle (around 16-22oz) can be convenient and easy to store.
• For families or gatherings, larger options (1-3 quarts) let you brew enough for everyone in one go.
• Consider your kitchen space and how often you entertain guests. Some models are compact, while others come with larger pitchers for iced tea or group servings.

Thinking about your daily habits can help you find a tea maker that fits your lifestyle.

Most tea makers on this page are designed for loose leaf tea, thanks to built-in or removable infusers.

• Loose leaf tea works especially well in glass or ceramic teapots with infusers, letting you control the strength and flavor.
• Many electric kettles and iced tea makers can also brew tea bags—just remove the infuser and place the bag directly in the pot or pitcher.

Always check the product details to see if your chosen tea maker supports both options, so you can enjoy your favorite blends however you like.

Keeping your glass tea maker clean helps maintain fresh flavors.

1. Let the tea maker cool before cleaning.
2. Remove the infuser and rinse out any loose leaves.
3. Wash the glass and infuser with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge to avoid scratches.
4. For stubborn stains, a mix of baking soda and water can help gently scrub away residue.
5. Rinse thoroughly and let all parts air dry before reassembling.

Regular cleaning can help your tea maker last longer and keep your tea tasting great.

Some tea makers, especially those made from borosilicate glass or certain ceramics, are designed to be stovetop safe.

• Always check the product description to confirm stovetop compatibility.
• Never place electric kettles or models with plastic parts directly on a stove.
• For stovetop-safe models, use low to medium heat and avoid sudden temperature changes to help prevent cracking.

If you’re unsure, it’s best to use your tea maker as directed in the instructions to keep it in good condition.

Many tea makers on this page are versatile enough for both hot and iced tea.

• Some models come with large pitchers or adjustable strength settings, making them ideal for brewing iced tea or cold infusions.
• To make iced tea, brew your tea as usual, then pour it over ice or chill it in the fridge.
• Look for features like removable infusers or glass pitchers, which make it easy to add fruit or herbs for extra flavor.

Always follow the instructions for your specific tea maker to get the best results.
