We purchased the 2m wide retractable gate for our living room, to contain our crawling baby when required. We wanted to keep the space open as much as possible and hence why we chose the retractable gate over the standard solid gates. Installation was easy, and the gate is very easy to use. Perfect for our awkward stairway where a traditional pressure mounted metal gate wouldn't of worked. Seems durable to last the frequent opening and closing of main thoroughfare. The locking pin feature is a must to prevent our child trying to lift the gate up. Included mounting spacers is very convenient.
