Really like the ceramic coating instead of teflon. Teflon is a forever chemical. This luckily has ceramic instead. No pealing to deal with. After using butter to season the surface, I won't need to season again due to its non-stick properties when flipping pancakes. With the cheaper skillets they make a U shaped heating element that doesn't heat evenly. The pancakes are still cooked well but the esthetics are not there. They're not pleasing to the eyes. But for the price, it's a great deal.
