Nice but hard to put together

So we found it hard to put together, only because the instructions were just pictures and no real written instructions, so we didn't know if we were putting things together the right way, which several times were not, and had to go back and re-do. We even tried looking it up on YouTube with no luck. Also the spring mechanism that lifts the bed up and down, that was a real problem, so hard to get working properly, we had to put the mattress on the bed and the weight helped getting it working, but there's nothing that says that in the manual.. But once it was put together we were happy..

Poor customer service/defective parts

Overall it's a decent looking bed but I can't speak to the ease of use because mine is defective. Due to the bed being defective and the lack of response from the company (poor customer service) I am giving this a low rating. The part that makes it easy to lift up the mattress was all the way extended and we didn't realize it until after we spent hours assembling the bed. I called to see if I can just get the part so I don't have to take it all apart, ship it back, wait for a replacement bed and then spend hours assembling another one. I called Walmart and they said they would submit my complaint to the third party vendor and they would contact me directly . I have not gotten a response from the third party company. It has been 4 days since my request for assistance. TIP: check the parts to see if any are broken or defective before you spend time assembling anything! Don't assume because you are purchasing brand new you won't have an issue!
