This mattress is comfortable, I had a foam one before, this mattress is way better, the only way to know it’s better is to buy it and sleep on it for a few nights and find out for yourself , I am a short fat old lady with a bad back and terrible arthritis, this mattress is a remarkable improvement over my old one, I do get relief from my aches and pains after sleeping on it if only for a nap during the day as well as an 8 hour nightly snooze. I can only speak on my sleep experience with this mattress , it was an extremely good experience, I certainly hope Walmart continues to carry a quality product like this mattress, I want to buy one for my granddaughter and my grandson for their twin beds. I bought a good zip all over mattress cover , waterproof type, to protect my investment and prolong the cleanliness and life of this great mattress. I do recommend this item over a plain bland sinking foam type mattress if you are a mature adult who appreciates comfortable support during a night’s rest. This mattress is designed to be firm with a little bounce , a little soft gentle springy bounce if you find yourself tossing and turning to adjust your pillows and blankets getting comfortable in your bed preparing to sleep , to relax and rest, such an easy mattress to toss and turn on , no sinking deep into it, no climbing out of a deep foam sweaty dip in it and no rolling off the side because this bed is not saggy in the middle or the sides. I am a fat old woman and sit in my chairs not on my bed anyway, I want to take good care of this mattress because something this good is worth the extra care for it’s longevity. I can honestly recommend buying this mattress as I consider myself to be an excellent critical consumer who has had enough past purchases to make a decent comparison.
