TL;DR —» yes!   Overall ? 〜 9 / 10 imo, this weighted blanket is an *excellent* choice! `☆ ··· » my Full Review: This is the second weighted blanket I've tried. Compared to my first (which had been one of those pre-boxed ones, also from Walmart, that looked suspiciously similar to an As-Seen-On-TV type item), this one seems to be sturdier and higher quality! My previous one began leaking (despite its advertised claims) very quickly, too, but I have had this one for a li'l while, and it still doesn't show any signs of wear!! I have been sleeping Hot this past year or two, and unfortunately I have a (medical) Heat Intolerance, but *luckily*, this blanket is also much more "heavy" than "warm" !! Exactly what you want in a weighted blanket!! At least in the Autumn/Winter, it's been perfect! I'm still able to Layer my blankets (fuzzy/soft Microfiber, thin all-season comforter, this one, and then a huge, plush winter blanket on top!). I *do* have air conditioning for my room, if needed, but mostly I just keep my thermostat in the low-to-mid 60's until Winter, hahaha! For the primary purpose of a Weighted Blanket, it's been perfect! An absolutely HUGE relief for my Anxiety, at this weight I have been much less anxious/stressed while using it thru the day, and sleeping much more soundly at night! All without being any more drowsy thru the day, or even at bedtime— so all-in-all, it has been amazing! As the description mentions, due to the nature of gravity, a weighted blanket is designed to *not* hang off your bed, so they're a bit smaller than your mattress size. This 48 × 72 one has been Perfect for me! I share a Queen Size Mattress with another person, but only I am using the weighted blanket— it is a li'l scrunched up at the edges, but basically Perfect for what I needed!! However, I wouldn't suggest this as a Share-Size, though, definitely not! So far, my only remaining hesitation would be that the tie-loops for a duvet cover are kinda small? I dunno yet if it'll be an issue, though!    I still need to pick one up, and I am admittedly rather nervous about the size in that regard, because in my initial searching for duvet covers, none of them seemed designed toward a 48" × 72" size? But rather, were all a notably larger, more typical size for a Queen Size blanket! So, the duvet cover would need to have thin internal ties to fit these little loops, *and* they would need to also be *very* securely attached ties, to reliably secure all 15 lbs of blanket inside the hypothetical duvet. Finding a duvet cover that fits these specifications has been a bit challenging, so far? But it's a very minor drawback, all things considered!! personally, i Highly Recommend this weighted blanket! ★
