Arrived within two days after placing the order! Shipping great! - you will need to tools to assemble the fan stand and to install the remote battery. - only took 5 minutes to attach the base and remove the screw in the remote and to install the screw in the remote after the battery is placed in the fan remote. One standard Phillips head screwdriver and one tiny screwdriver ( the size of the screwdriver head to replace reading glasses hinges ) The only negative thing to say about this fan has to have a 6-foot clearance on the right side of the fan to circulate air properly because of not knowing this before ordering it I had to rearrange my master bedroom. I waited 24 hours before I stated my review our bedroom has full airflow now it doesn't matter which part of the room you're at you're going to feel a breeze which is fantastic. really easy to clean all you have to do is take the vacuum cleaner hose to the front of the fan and then wipe down with a damp cloth the base of the fan so it doesn't build up dust. If you are used to the circulating fan noise to sleep you might not want to buy this fan because this fan is *silent*! I do plan on buying one more for our living room!! I hope I provided you enough information to where you feel confident with your purchase

Amazing Vornado

I specifically purchased this Vornado for my kids room to drown out some of the noise of the house. It is the perfect background white noise and amount of air movement. All fans create some noise, and Vornado has got it right! A gentle hum is all you hear, but the air movement that it creates is absolutely amazing! You dont feel the air movement yet you know it is moving .
