I didn't want to have to use a walker, yet, at this time I need it. What made me look at this model was the fact I can use it on my lawn to go to our back patio, with the 2 steps down from sliding door at the back of the house, it's the safest way for me to enjoy my patio. And the most important reason for me to have this is to help me exercise by being able to walk quickly up and down our street. Without it I can't safely walk fast. The only complaint for me are the handles. I do wish they were made with something softer for my hands...I don't like the ridges on them. Love the purple color! I can't comment on the ease of putting it together, but a friend of my husband did it for me and they commented on how easy it was. I have put in in our van and I was able to put it in and take it out without a problem. It folds up very easily!
