The Pioneer Woman 10.5 gal Stainless Steel Oval Kitchen Garbage Can, Vintage Floral

This Pioneer Woman trash can is beautiful! I got the teal one with a red lid and the red and cream flower print. The style and colors have a country and vintage vibe that I love, and it offers a nice fun pop of color to go with my neutral furniture. I try to stick with neutral furniture pieces and change out accent pieces of different colors for a nice contrast. I originally planned to use this for my kitchen but as soon as it arrived, I thought it is so beautiful, so I decided to use it in my office library for a while and I may switch it to the kitchen in the future. We use it to contain all of our homeschooling trash, craft/sewing/art trash, and office papers we need to toss. It holds a lot of trash! It measures: 25" tall, 16" wide (left to right), and 15" from the back to the front push pedal. Plenty of space for a family of 8 to empty every couple weeks (or every 2 days if we use it for the kitchen trash). This trash can is very well made and sturdy. The outside is metal and will not ding nor scratch easily (even with 5 kiddos!), which is what I was concerned about. There is a removable heavy duty plastic insert that holds the large 13 gallon kitchen trash bags perfectly inside. The liner is removable and also has carrying cutouts on the sides. There are also several small holes, which is a genius idea because it will allow for some air flow and prevent trash can stank. The lid opens quickly and easily when you press the pedal with your foot, and the lid closes smoothly and has a soft, slow close motion. I am so impressed with the quality, weight, and functionality of this gorgeous trash can. I plan to get a few more for the bathrooms and bedrooms (in the other beautiful prints). These will definitely last many, many years even with constant and rough use from a child-filled household. The only negative thing I would note is that the one I received has a lid that is slightly askew. It doesn't affect the function of the lid, and most people won't notice anyway, but it does bother me every time I look at it. The trash can arrived very well packaged (cardboard and foam inserts snugly padded it and kept it from being jostled around), so I don't know if this askew lid happened in shipping or during manufacturing. Either way, this trash can is gorgeous and well made, so I can certainly live with this imperfection. I would recommend this beautiful, quality trash can to anyone for any room in your home! I can't say enough about my new Pioneer Woman trash can. It is absolutely beautiful. The colors are so bright and it makes me happy everytime I walk into my kitchen. I love the self closing lid and the inside can comes out for super easy cleaning. The quality is A plus. I definitely recommend this item for anyone who wants to add a special touch to their kitchen.
