Frigidaire Nugget Ice Maker, Touch Control, 44 lbs Capacity, Self-Cleaning, Countertop, Black

I got this on a whim because most chip ice makers you see are over $700.00. I did not think that it was going to be this nice. I am beyond happy with the purchase and I love that when the ice melts it automatically restarts making ice. The only odd thing I find is that the shovel it comes with does not have a designated holder. The other thing that is odd to me is that it suggests cleaning it with bleach monthly. I don’t think I am going to do that, I will probably just clean it with soap and water, I don’t want to be tasting bleach going forward. The only thing I hate about it is that I ordered black, and black is not black. It is grey. So if you are planning on trying to match your kitchen area, it’s not worth trying. I was disappointed when I opened the box, I thought they sent me the wrong one.

I'm glad I purchased the 44 pound option.Instead of the thirty three or twenty six pound option. The features are great. There's a great pull out drawer on the top where you put the water in, so you don't have to pull the hole unit out to put water in the ice Maker, which is awesome.It goes in the water tank and then goes down into the system.So you're not pouring water over ice or having to remove a bucket period. The ice draw itself holds a ton of ice.. I'm going to stop using my refrigerator ice Maker.Because it's 20 years old and I'm using filtered water and ice taste awesome.It holds about 4 pounds of ice in the ice holder.After the nugget ice is made so I'll transfer that to my ice bucket from my other ice Maker.So I can have continuous.Ice all the time.
