My cat is 18 years old, spent most of the day sleeping a 1/2 room away, and then came this chair. We’re now side by side most of the day until she can do a full takeover, otherwise the arm supports her heft no issue. She has razors for claws - her poor jumping skills did get a pin hole in a cushion as she clung; otherwise she she will claw at times when being petted/brushed - no issues; it’s on wheels a concept she hasn’t grasped so do be careful where you set it up if you’re sharing. I’m too big/old to lay out like the model (though I tried), so I can’t fully appreciate the flexibility the chair offers with arms partially up/down so I rate the comfort as ok. My cat, 5 stars without question.
