This is my 2nd Brita filter system. The 1st worked well but it was time for a new one. Easy install, ease of use, no issues at all. The water tastes better than the tap hands down! I like the stream choice and the spray choice. Altho, the indicator light does have a tendency to stop working, but all I do is take a marker and write the date on top of the filter. Then I always know when its time to change it. Plus, it all depends on how often you use it. I use it to fill up a few water jugs to keep in the fridge so I change the filter once a month. I still feel its a decent product that does what its suppose to, give you clean water.

Great water filter

Due to street construction, it was discovered that the water pipes running to our house were lined on the outside with lead. The water suggested using a filtration system for at least 6 months. The construction company left us a Brita Filtration Pitcher, which is very nice, but not practical for daily household and cooking needs. We've been using our Brita filter for almost a month now and haven't had a single problem with it. Attaching to our kitchen faucet was a breeze. We are enjoying the taste and the better smell of our water. And the water is also much better for our cat. I imagine we will continue to use the Brita water filter long after 6 months.

The unit worked well for the first four days I've followed instructions to the letter for installation and cleaning the unit properly prior to using it for drinking then I noticed the light indicator that is supposed to stay on while it is in the purification mode only turns on for a few seconds then turns off while it's in the purification mode with the water running
