Love being in your living room again as you cozy up next to the Ameriwood Home Lamont Mantel Fireplace. The laminated MDF and particleboard is finished in a white finish for an updated, modern look. The white finish is accented by a dark gray marble effect around the center insert and beautiful molding details along each edge. Curl up with a good book in front of this 3 tiered fireplace. On either side of the 26" electric fireplace insert is extra storage space for your books and collectibles. Control the Fireplace flame setting with the included remote control or by the touch panel and choose to enjoy your Fireplace with or without the heat setting while still allowing the flames to give off their calming feel. This fireplace insert is powerful enough to heat up a room up to 400 square feet and features an adjustable temperature control to keep your room at the perfect temperature. The Mantel Fireplace ships flat to your door and requires assembly. Two adults are recommended to assemble and move. Once assembled, the Fireplace measures to be 44.7"H x 69.3"W x 12.6"D.

I bought this electric fireplace on sale, so I think it was a great buy. I put it together by myself without any trouble except once it was done. I did notice a few small gaps where I didn't properly tighten the screws but it still looks fantastic. The fireplace is beautiful, and I love that I can adjust the temperature of the heater.

The directions were clearly illustrated and easy to follow. It does take 2 people to assemble, but that and the expected amount of time to complete assembly are clearly stated on the manual. The company also offers online or over the phone assistance. While I have one small chip on the moulding, it is nothing a little touch up paint won't fix. The size and style are as stated. It is beautiful! And perfect for my room.
