Good chair for the price.
The back of the chair is not padded, but the picture already shows that. In the winter, I put a folded blanket over it to keep the cold off my back. I have a piece of 1" foam that I'll make a padded backing out of soon. One screw that mounts the chair back to the bottom of the chair will not screw in- it just spins, but the other three hold well. The seat is padded well, better than I expected for the price.
