Magnetic chest clip is a game changer

Before trying out the Maxi-Cosi Pria Max All-In-One Convertible Car Seat, I had previously used the Chicco Keyfit 30 and the Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat. I was perfectly happy with both of those, but the Maxi-Cosi Pria Max All-In-One has some awesome features I didn't even realize I was missing out on with the KeyFit and Extend2Fit seats. The thing that most jumps out at me with this car seat is the magnetic chest clip. It nearly buckles itself. It makes getting a squirming baby safely secured much easier. The cushioning feels plush and comfy and I love how the comfort covers around the straps to protect baby's neck are actually connected to the rest of the car seat's fabric, rather than just wrapped around the seat belt. By this, I mean that when you tighten or loosen the straps, you don't have to also adjust the positioning of the cushions. They stay firmly in place. Installation was the same as any other car seat that uses a Latch system. The only thing this car seat could do better is accommodate extended height/weight ranges to keep baby facing rear longer. This isn't a deal breaker, but just something to keep in mind. This car seat tops out for rear facing at 40 lbs. while the Extend2Fit can continue on to 50 pounds. Overall, I'm very happy with this car seat!

What else can you ask for?

I have used several car seats in my attempts to find the perfect one and the Maxi-Cosi Pria Max is definitely in my top 2 along with the Nuna. I have tried the Maxi-cosi with both my infant and with my 5 year old. My five year old loves it. She says it's very comfy and that she prefers it over her previous one. With my infant, I love that it is so cushioned and seems to support her head so well. Her head doesn't flop around when she falls asleep, which is a major problem with most car seats. Also, I love that this car seat is so versatile. It works for newborns and grows with the child first as a rear facing seat and then eventually can be used for older kids that are forward facing. There are some amazing features that I had not realized I was missing. The quick fit shoulder harness is the best thing ever! It has harness holders on both sides to keep the straps out of the way when you're putting your baby in the seat. It's a game changer when you have a squirmy baby in tow! Also, the cushions on the straps are held in place and don't have to positioned higher or lower when you're loosening or tightening the straps. And honestly, the magnetic chest clip feature should be standard on all car seats! I can get her in and out of that seat with one hand and without fumbling and getting her arms all tangled in the straps. It makes my life easier while protecting my girls. What else can you ask for from a car seat?

So safe and comfy!

I love the seat! We researched for hours and it's so hard to find a very safe seat that does it all and this one fits the bill. It's sturdy and feels like it's going to last though all the stages it'll be needed for. I love that you can have an infant all the way to booster. The fabric is really high quality and will be great for spot cleaning. It's huge though. As we think about growing the fam- I don't think 3 of these would fit in a row. Something to think about but for now perfect for our sweet girl and fits great in our Subaru. We love all Maxi Cosí products- always amazing quality.
