It was really easy to build. The size is perfect its not tall like other bunk beds. I'm 5'2 and it's at my chest level. Perfect for my 5 year old. It's really sturdy as well :). He loves his bed. And oh the bottom size is perfect for a little lounge area for him.

I ordered two of these. The first one went together smoothly. The second one had some minor issues. One of the legs that was for the shef end was a little short and didn't want to fit to the frame, but a longer screw made it work. A couple of the rungs that the mattress had to lay on wanted to be strong armed to go into place. Other than those minor issues the frame was just as solid as the other one I purchased. My kids love these beds! They are good quality and look very nice.
