Ninja CREAMi Breeze 4 Pints Gelato Sorbet & Ice Cream Makers

Love my Ninja Creami Breeze. I'm able to make a healthier ice cream without totally blowing my health goals. The only drawback, the machine is loud! And I've yet to find extra cups to go with this model. Thankfully, this machine came with 4 cups, but since you need to freeze your ingredients first, it would be nice to have more, so I could prep more especially if I have visitors. Great concept, not sure why they're so hard to find. Recommend going to YouTube for videos to help you get started with lots of handy tips.

I've used this almost everyday to make protein ice cream It s a great way to give into my love of ice cream and eat the whole pint of 350ish calories, 62g of protein, and only 15 carbs!! There are some tricks to using the cream that will put less stress on your new machine. The first is freeze your recipe without the lid to minimize the hill that forms after frozen. When ready to Creami, pull the container out 15 mins before and let it thaw a little bit. After the 15 mins take a spoon and level out the hill on the top of the pint. Make sure the top of the pint is as level and flat possible so the blade will spin evenly. Last run all sides of the container under warm water for 3 to 5 mins. You will see the ice pull away from the side of the container as you do this. After that run your program on the creami and it should be ready to go if you used higher fat ingredients. If it comes out chalky just re-spin and it will be creamy and ready to eat after that. These steps may seem laborious at first, but it's not given I'm consuming a low calorie, high protein snack I get to count as one of my 6 daily meals. Once you go through the steps a few times your first expectations of immediate sweet gratification dwindle and you realize it's still a lot faster than waiting on go puff to deliver a pint of 1500 calorie ice cream that will show up on the waistline later.
