Mainstay motion trash can

This is the second time I have ordered this trash can and it is still a very good trash can because it keeps me from having to touch the lid, is easy to clean and does not take up too much space in my kitchen. The only downside is that it opens each time I come near, but that does not diminish the pros of this trash can.

Stainless Steel Motion Sensor Kitchen Trash Can

Purchased online 10/2022 for $39 which is the perfect price for this item. Installed the batteries immediately and I have yet to change them as of this review, 7/2025. I don't think that I've installed the trash bag correctly because I think that it's not to be seen around the rim lol. I'm unsure how to install the trash bag so that it's not visible around the rim/opening of the trash can but then again, I don't care as I live alone. No issues with the sensor. Works as advertised. No complaints.
