10' Segmented Skip Rope, Red/White

I purchased three different styles of jump ropes to preview before purchasing additional ropes for gym for elementary children. The segmented skip rope was the easiest to use for novice jumpers. The sound of it hitting the floor or pavement is a helpful timing cue, and the cord does not get tangled readily. The other two ropes I tried were purchased from Walmart, produced by Spectrum. The Spectrum speed jump ropes would, I think, be useful for speed jumping by intermediate jumpers; I did not care for the spectrum nylon rope jump ropes because they did not hold their open shape unless turned fairly fast. This review is for the 8' segmented rope; the other lengths of segmented rope that I tested (7', 16') also worked fine.

Nice! I bought a pair of jump ropes for my daughter's and they are good. They don't tangle as much and the size of them are good for me to teach them how to use them. Overall they are good to play jump rope with :)
