Sturdy construction, great value
Construction was simple, though some of the screws took extra amount of force beyond using a screwdriver. Chair feels very comfortable and plush. The tilt mechanism sometimes moves on its own, causing me to check the lever when I sit down now.

uncomfortable chair
While I'm sure this chair will last at least 15 years because it's very solid, the design intended for those with bad backs, is very uncomfortable. The protruding hard lumbar area is not level across causing a rolling off the spine issue. I've had back problems for decades and have used lumbar support chairs and cushions but this is the worst help design I have ever seen. I think any extending use might actually cause back problems. In addition to those serious problems, the seat itself is quite hard and uncomfortable. The only redeeming quality was it's sturdiness. You might wish the chair would break long before it ever does.
