Britax® Galaxy360™ Slim Rotating Convertible Car Seat – Teak

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Convertible Car Seat is a parent's dream. The smooth, one-handed 360 swivel is a huge help in our daily routine. Whether we're squeezing in a tight parking spot or dealing with a toddler who isn't especially thrilled about getting in the car, the rotating design simplifies the process. As a family committed to extended rear-facing, this feature also makes it easy to secure the kids in and then comfortably rotate them as they grow. A real standout feature of the Galaxy 360 is the ease of install using ClickTight. The QuickStand seat prop, release levers, and tether indicator gave me confidence that I securely and properly installed the car seat. The user guide also provides a convenient final install review checklist. The only tricky part was getting the recline indicator ball in the desired position, since adjustments must be made before closing ClickTight - this took a bit of trial and error to get exactly right. It is important to keep in mind that for extended rear facing, this seat requires a bit more front to back space. Both of my kids love riding in this car seat. My 3-year-old (39"/34lbs) has been requesting to sit in this seat, and my 1-year- old (33"/27lbs) is appears happy and cozy in the seat. They both ride rear-facing, but by my older child was also comfortable forward-facing during testing. The no-rethread harness makes switching between kids simple, and they both love being buckled in while parent-facing vs. being tucked into a traditional rear-facing seat. Design-wise, Britax truly thought through every detail. The space-saving slim profile seat has a modern design. We live in a hot climate, so I especially love the the plush, luxurious fabrics that are flame retardant-free fabric in the light neutral Teak colorway. My toddlers are big fans of the double cupholders to store their drinks and snacks. Another great feature are the buckle holders that keep the straps out of the way and from getting twisted while getting kids in and out of the seat. The Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Convertible Car seat is stylish and functional, while still prioritizing safety and the day-to-day needs families. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really pleasantly surprised by this car seat! First off, it looks amazing. The color is really nice, it has dual cupholders, and its nicely cushioned. That said, my absolute favorite part is the installation. There's nothing I dread more than having to wrestle a carseat into the car only to find out its still not tight enough and you have to do the whole thing over again. Britax's ClickTight system is a complete game changer. I was able to install the carseat in my van completely on my own, no husband or extra muscle needed. The gas stuts threw me off at first, but they were a nice addition so you're not having to fight to hold the seat up while threading the seatbelt through the belt path. Overall, this design was thoughtfully done so that moms can install the seat with ease by themselves, a feature I greatly appreciate. After installation, we got to check out how the rotating works. I honestly didnt expect to like it due to the button you have to push in conjunction with the pull handle, but they are placed so naturally your hand just kind of does it. I also like it as an added safety feature so my toddler isnt accidently rotating herself. I also really like how it "clicks" in the side position, that way the seat isnt trying to turn on me while Im trying to wrangle my toddler in. Once she was loaded up, she seemed pretty happy. There is plenty of cushion for the seat to be comfortable and the straps did not twist on me while tightening. The chest clip feels a little flimsy for my liking, but thats me nitpicking. The headrest was easy to adjust as well, and i appreciate that the shoulder straps adjust with it.
