Exactly as advertised! They do come with a pretty pungent odor, almost vinegar or pickle-y. It dissipated overnight, thankfully. I'm a size US 18 and had at least 6 inches left to extend out more without stretching the band at all, so these are very plus size friendly. Held my overly long sweater in place all day!

This is a simple and great little tool to make your shirt have a cropped look. It makes the shirt have a baggy tucked and cropped look so you can show a bit of your tummy. I didn't understand how to use it so I had to look up a YouTube video. Maybe it should come with instructions.
