I really liked everything about this chair however, I was disappointed that the remote only functions for the heat and massage. in order to recline or use the lift chair portion one must reach their arm over the stuffed upholstered chair arm feel for the button and push it which direction they wish to go. this made it not the ideal chair for My 85-year-old mother. but I got exactly what I ordered I should have looked closer at the description and realized that the most important part of the chair for anyone who needs a lift chair is to have that button easy access on a remote.

I wish I had realized that the buttons to recline or to stand up are on the side of the chair instead of on a remote. it's hard to push the button on the side since I am disabled and missing my right hand. Other than that, it's been a great chair
