No-frills, lightweight crockpot

I really liked this crockpot because of it's simplistic design and the fact that it is lighter than some of the more expensive crockpots. I realize the lightness is likely from a less sturdy crock, however, I don't see the need for a super thick, heavy crock. This crockpot seems sturdy enough for everyday use and I love that I don't have to carry a heavy crockpot from the low cupboard every time I want to use it. The handles are well-placed and sturdy so it's an easy lift from cupboard to counter. The simplicity is something I appreciate as well. One dial that is a manual knob for an easy start. I really don't care for the digital readouts and buttons on the newer appliances, so this feature was nice for me. The 'feet' on the bottom aren't slippery, so it stays put on the countertop when stirring or wiping off the sides. The lid seats well on the crock and is clear glass for easy viewing of food as it cooks. I have made a pork butt and pot roast so far -- both turned out wonderful and consistent to what I would expect at the cook times used.

Very nice

This crockpot is very modern looking with it's silver and black scheme. I really like being able to remove the insert for either serving or clean up. The base of it is very lightweight. This will definitely be used quite a bit, especially during the summer when no one want to stand over a stove.
