Our builder has been carefully constructing all types of outdoor furniture for more than 20 years, so you can be certain that our products have been built to last.
- Eastern Aromatic Red Cedar - Every piece in this outdoor furniture collection has been carefully crafted using Eastern Aromatic Red Cedar. This particular type of cedar is best known for its strong, distinctive aroma and its soft, fine, even texture. Eastern Aromatic Red Cedar is the type of wood most often used for cedar closets, cedar chests, and fence posts.
- Gorgeous Finish Using Oil-Based Sealer - We have opted for an oil-based outdoor sealer for this furniture collection, as it brings out the rich redness of the cedar and creates an amber warmth to the coloring of the furniture. The use of this sealer helps our furniture maintain its color and resist water. If your furniture is outside and unprotected from the sun, rain, wind, and elements, we recommend that you restain once per year to maintain the beautiful look of the furniture. If you position the furniture in an area that is partially protected from the elements, such as on a porch, we recommend restaining after one year and then once every 2-3 years after that. Any oil-based outdoor sealer in a Cedar tone should work, but we use the Finish Works FL5812.
- New and Improved Design - One of the greatest advantages of handcrafted furniture is that the hands-on nature of the work ensures that we are constantly growing and improving, looking for ways to refine and enhance the designs for increased customer satisfaction. That is why we have improved our design by using thicker and wider slats in the support system of each piece. The thicker slats provide better support and more evenly distribute weight, greatly reducing the risk of sagging.
- Professionally Milled for a Smooth Finish - Every plank used in this outdoor furniture collection has been milled for a smooth finish. Milling is a process in woodworking that makes the wood flat, straight, and square, ensuring that each plank is uniform and that only the highest quality of materials are used to build this furniture. Milling is not only important for the quality of build, but also creates an elegant, rustic look without the risk of splintering wood.
