Beautiful 4Qt Slow Cooker with Touch-Activated Display, Black Sesame by Drew Barrymore

I was so happy when this slow cooker was offered in the smaller 4 quart size. We have been cooking smaller meals since our last child is away at college and we just don’t need to cook larger meals in a 6 quart pot. I work full time and really enjoy coming home to a dinner that is already done and ready to serve. This smaller size is perfect for us and I really love that it switches to warm after the 8 hours on low. My other Crockpot was a 6 quart manual and would not make smaller size meals without overcooking if I wasn’t home to switch it to warm. I really wanted to upgrade to a programmable one but wanted to wait for the Beautiful brand to come out with the smaller size. One of the features that makes this one so useful is the lid holder. It’s wonderful to be able to rest the lid rather than place it on the countertop while serving. It even has the cord wrap/holder for convenient storage. Neither one of those things were a feature on my old crockpot. Another little bonus is due to the smaller size, I can assemble the food in the crock the night before. It fits better on the shelf in the fridge so I can just take it out, place it in the cooker base and turn it on before I walk out the door so that I don’t have to rush to put it all together before I leave the house. This is a very well designed kitchen appliance and well worth buying. If you are considering a good smaller size slow cooker, this is the one to buy!
