These boy shorts are amazing! 95% cotton, 5% spandex. They are incredibly soft. I am 5'4", the leg hem falls about 1-2" above my knee. The shorts have a true gusseted crotch (no bare-bones seam constantly rubbing against your nethers). so wearing a pad or liner is not awkward. They have a narrow, low profile elastic waistband. I ordered a size up, XL (118 lbs), so my boxers are roomy, breathable, and loose. Although they are advertised as underwear, I wear them every day with a long T-shirt. I really appreciate not having to wear double layers (underwear outer pants). I suppose you could wear a girlie pair of panties under them, but I am embracing the Go Commando method. You can sleep in them, putter around the house, check the roadside mailbox, drive the kids to school, maybe go to Walmart or the grocery store in them. They look that much like casual, pull-on summer shorts. They are good quality, and are cut well. I ordered one 4-pack, and am going to get another pack, so I have 8 and can wear them all week. I ordered universal black, so I only need long T-shirts to coordinate. They also work well as safety shorts under dresses. They wash well (I air dry). I highly recommend these boy shorts!

Wasn't sure I would like these but was tired of underwear that either crawled up in back or didn't want to stay up around my waist. I am plus size and these are super comfortable. No ‘crotching' me. They took a bit to get use to the length as they felt a bit odd with the longer legs but I use to wear boy cut swim suits so after a day, it felt normal.
