Arzum Okka Minio Automatic Turkish Coffee Maker

Works great! The design of this coffee maker is similar to that for electric kettles in that the heating element is within the base of the carafe and it sits on a large nub in the base of the “machine” itself (which holds the electrical connection within the nub and serves no other purpose than that and to hold the carafe securely in place). That said, the pot doesn't need any extraneous bells and whistles because it does a fantastic job of heating the coffee and water to a boil and lets it boil for the perfect amount of time to allow for extraction of the coffee without over extraction, so you get a wonderful cup of honest to goodness Mediterranean (Turkish, Arabic, Greek…whatever region) coffee. I've got a traditional cezve pot for use on the stove (or any heat source, really), but I've yet to find the right setting on my stove burners to bring it to the boil in the perfect amount of time to extract the coffee sufficiently without over extracting it. And with that said, I would definitely recommend this little machine for those who don't want to hassle with finding just the right setting on your stovetop and getting the timing juuuust right.
