Super cute, durable dish! Lid doesn't seal

Beautiful, rustic/farmhouse chic, butter dish! It is quite heavy for its size, and is very thick porcelain, not fragile. The only thing I would change is how the lid sits on top. It covers the dish, but the wood lid is not airtight/flesh with the porcelain, nor does it have any sort of rubber or elastic band around it to help provide somewhat of a seal or suction to the porcelain base. Still love it though!

This is the second butter dish I've bought becuz I broke the lid in the last one. I like that it's inside a deep container. you don't have to worry about the mess all over the standard butter dishes. I think it's also farmhouse looking, which is what my kitchen decor is. My daughter owns one %26 she has a modern, nuetral kitchen.
