It's a lovely pitcher that is glass and the lid fits great. It was everything I had hoped for that there would be no plastic, but I could not fit the Clearly Filtered filters that I wanted to use up in the top. I need a wider one.

The glass itself for this pitcher is quite stylish. It gives it a unique look that not every other pitcher may have. With the open spout on the right side, does not disspell quite as even as it should when beverage is flowing out at times. It's ok though, the stainless steel lid makes up for it. It also comes with a sponge brush to clean the pitcher with. I recommend this pitcher.
