Our elderly dog has terrible anxiety and when he gets worked up he jumps on our bed to nest in the covers. Unfortunately when he is scared he can not always control his bladder anymore. He is an 80 pound dog, the amount his bladder can hold is not small. I have 4 of these covers, two for our bed and two for our son's to be sure we can have one on the mattresses at all times. We have never had a leak through these covers and unlike others of the same material, I can not feel them under the sheets, even by the end of the week when the sheets need changed. They stay put, they do not let any water through.
