The process gives the rice its signature yellow color and helps conserve the original whole grains found in the rice. It has a nuttier taste perfect for any rice recipe, including rice and beans, rice pudding, and more. It's sodium-free, fat-free, and cholesterol-free.

Reduce heat and swimmer for 25 minutes or until all water is absorbed. *** Cooking Measurement Chart **For drier rice, use 1/4 cup less water. For moister rice, use 1/4 cup more water. **Rice: 1 cup; Water: 2 1/4 cups; Makes: 3 cups; Servings (3/4 cup cooked): 4 **Rice: 2 cups; Water: 4-1/2 cups; Makes: 6 cups; Servings (3/4 cup cooked): 8 **Rice: 3 cups; Water: 6 3/4cups; Yield: 9 cups; Servings (3/4 cup cooked): 12 **** Add 1 tbsp butter 1 tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice, if desired. **Microwave - From Ambient **Cooking Direction in the Microwave*** **1. In a 2 quart microwave-safe dish, combine 2 1/4 cup water and 1 cup rice.** **2. Cover and microwave on High for 5 minutes. Reduce setting to 50% pewer, microwave for 20 minutes. Let stand for 50 minutes. **** Add 1 tbsp. butter and 1 tsp. salt per cup of uncooked rice, if desired. ***** It is recommended that only 1 cup rice be prepared in the microwave at a time.
