This came in a small box and assembly was very easy. The lightness of the product is nice, not too heavy. It seems very sturdy. I just bought a new home and do not have carpet. It is great for getting up dirt,hair, and anything else unwanted on the floor. This is light and makes it very easy to dump the dirt in a trash can.

2nd purchase as I use 1 outside and 1 inside. "Dust pan on a stick" is a must for people with back %26 shoulder issues %26 the long poled broom bristle length smallish but gets into the corners perfectly and picks up a lot of dirt! I'm very happy! On quality- 1st Dust pan sturdy and I am still using after over 5 years - was indoor now I've been using the "dust pan on a stick" outside for the last year- I expect to get another 2 years if it, if it doesnt get damaged in a storm. I purchased 2nd as I desperately needed that handled dustpan inside. The Broom bristles are bent after 5 years of almost daily usage inside, so I will use the new 2nd broom inside %26 put the old 1st broom outside as still usable. My outside patios are heavy usage - dead leaves, dried up tree pods, dead flowers, bird seed, bird seed shells, tiny rocks, sand %26 dirt that needs to be swept up every other day.
