Best butter dish

Why is this not in stores? I had this butter dish for over 20 years and recently purchased a new one. Not that the old one wasn't still good, I just lost it in a long distance move. This butter dish lid snaps closed and secure but is still easily opened when in use. You can see how much butter is in the dish and it stays both in the fridge and on the counter and lets no odors contaminate the flavor of the butter.

Snaps nicely

There are absolutely no plastic butter dishes to be found here in South Florida. Well, unless they just fly off the shelves. I have a glass one and I hate it. It gets slippery and I'm afraid that the glass cover is going to slip from my hand to the Italian tiled floor hitting my cat Casey's head on the way down. The new one snaps shut. If it falls it won't bust into 100 pieces. No fuss, no worries. Easy to clean and the ridge on the tray will keep the butter from softening over the sides onto my French Marble countertop. I like it so much I'm going to take it camping with me out to the Everglades Natural Park.
