Love that you only lift the lid to fill with ice. Other machines, you have to take the entire top off (which houses the motor) and set it down, fill with ice, replace top/motor and operate. First of all, the motor is rather heavy to be doing that and second you need something (towel perhaps) to place this top piece onto to keep it clean. I mean I don't want to just place it on the table/counter. No issue here! Lift lid, fill with ice, press lid and you are making snow cones! Easy adjust of the blade(s) for bigger or finer shaving. Optimally, I wish it were a knob, to tighten blade as it may become loose through use but a quick adjustment with a screwdriver and you're in business!
