Snowcone fun ahead

I bought this to enjoy the fun of snow cones with my grandchildren and it did not disappoint. It is compact enough for me to leave on my countertop and simple enough for the novice user to catch on first try. I like that the blade is fully enclosed, so kids fingers can't touch it when dropping in the ice cubes. We fill the ice compartment with ice and it grinds enough snow for 3 - 4 snow cones. The machine doesn't come with a bowl receptacle to catch the snow, so you must have your own bowl and scoop for loading the snow into cones. I purchased the paper cones, straws and several syrups separately. All in all, this was a great buy at a reasonable price.
