Very accurate
My husband and I both work in foodservice so we temp foods regularly. This was really easy to tare and it shuts off simply by closing the needle. It's got a great length and can go deep inside to check internal temperature of large cuts like shoulders or legs. Easy to clean too. It's very accurate and even the temps given on the back of it on when to pull the meats out of the oven is correct. It's a quick read too.

Perfect temperatures
This comes with the button battery already installed and an extra one in the box. I love that as soon as you unfold the probe it turns on. There is also a magnet inside so I can keep it handy on the side of the refrigerator. I routinely cook salmon in the air fryer and worry about the thick portion being done.
