I recently purchased 100 3 mil. sheets, so when I had the opportunity to try the 5 mi. through Spark Reviewer program, I jumped at the chance. Whoa! I can't get over the difference in weight between the two. Immediately, I know the 5 mil. sheets are for some serious laminating! Until now, I had only used the 3 mil. The sheets have arrow guides so you know the correct end is going in first. They also contain UV protection. When I read this, I immediately went for the old newspaper articles, featuring my Family. It amazed me that the color-last seal and the direction arrows disappeared through the laminating process, so that the finished sheets were crystal clear. The finished product is smooth, bubble-free and clear as glass- nice! I can't possibly remark enough on the possibilities of lamination projects. Treasured artwork and childhood projects, recycling, chores lists, TV, and other household schedules can be perpetuated, yet written on with dry-erase markers! And Fellowe's has some great printable projects on their website. I plan to use these to laminate an item for my therapy pool Friends for a small Christmas gift...perfect! My next projects were a bit sad, but I'm glad I did them. I laminated the obituaries of my deceased loved ones along with a small portrait, a fitting poem, and their memorial pamphlets. This gave me such peace of mind, knowing that I could perpetuate these keepsakes in laminate. I love the power of laminate. The 3 mil. sheets are great when I want my sheets to be a little flexible. But these 5 mil. sheets are ideal for the more rigid laminated sheet. Either way, I feel that Fellowes is a leader in this product. I have had perfect results every time!

These Fellowes Laminating Pouches (Letter, ImageLast, 5 mil, 100 pack) are a great laminating accessory for your home or business office and can be used for school projects as well as preserving important papers. These pouches have many household uses but can be very helpful for any paper, recipe or other, that you might use in the kitchen as they protect the document and are easy to wipe off. They are handy for family use, but these thermal pouches and a laminating machine can be great assets for a school teacher, Sunday school teacher, scout leaders, coaches, and others. The pouches protect documents for current use, but are especially helpful if you want to reuse a document. For example, some medical offices use laminated patient information sheets that can be wiped clean and reused after the patient information is entered into the office computer saving paper and protecting the confidential patient information from being on paper that would otherwise need to be shredded after data entry (environmentally friendly also). These letter size pouches are very versatile as they easily hold standard 8.5” by 11” sheets, but it’s also easy to trim them if you laminate smaller items. They will work in most, if not all, laminating machines, but I use mine with my Fellowes Jupiter2 125 Laminator and have great results. The 3 mil thickness pouches are also very nice, but I personally prefer these slightly thicker 5 mil pouches as the finished documents have a heavier quality feel after being laminated. These Fellowes thermal pouches are very clear after laminating for easy reading and they can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
