I love the flaired out leg bottoms as it makes the stool, skid %26 tipping resistant! Even when used outside on, sand, dirt, or rocky uneven surfaces, it feels secure %26 safe. It clearly states height of 9 inches, it also states 300 lb weight bearing capacity, in product details!
