It's designed for use on plastic hubcaps and wheels that are made of aluminum or steel. This high-performance wheel paint delivers outstanding automotive rust protection and corrosion resistance to help wheels and hubcaps look gorgeous longer. Its oil-based formula resists nicks and scratches for additional protection. This spray is available in an 11 oz can and dries to the touch in just 10 minutes. Instructions
. Painting Conditions: Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area such as an open garage. Use when temperature is between 50°F and 90°F (10°-32°C) and humidity is below 65% to ensure proper drying. Do not apply to surfaces that, when heated, exceed 200°F (93°C) or galvanized metal. Avoid spraying in very windy, dusty conditions. Cover surrounding area to protect from spray mist. For best results, remove wheels or hubcaps from the vehicle before applying. Preparation: Remove loose paint and rust with a wire brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand smooth and glossy surfaces. Wipe the surface clean with Rust-Oleum® Wax & Tar Remover and then let dry. Priming: Use of a Rust-Oleum® Automotive Primer provides added corrosion protection, superior adhesion and hiding and is especially recommended for metal surfaces. Rust-Oleum® Automotive Primers can be top coated according to their specific directions. Painting: Shake can vigorously for one minute after mixing ball begins to rattle. If mixing balls fails to rattle do not strike can. Contact Rust-Oleum. Shake often during use. Hold can 10-16" from surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface. Keep the can in motion while spraying. For best appearance, apply one light coat followed by one wet coat. Note: Rust-Oleum® High Performance Wheel features an advanced spray system that allows you to spray at any angle, even upside down for those hard to reach areas. A comfort spray tip with wider finger pad reduces fatigue caused by continuous spraying. Dry & Recoat Times based on 70°F - 50% relative humidity. Dries to touch in 10 minutes and is fully dry in 30 minutes. Allow more time cooler temperatures. For an even glossier finish, top coat with Rust-Oleum® High Performance Wheel - Clear after 10 minutes.

May affect the brain or nervous system causing dizziness, headache or nausea. Causes eye, skin, nose and throat irritation. Do not puncture, strike, or incinerate (burn) container. Exposure to heat or prolonged exposure to sun may cause bursting. Do not expose to heat or store at temperatures above 120°F (48°C). Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents may be harmful or fatal. VAPORS MAY IGNITE EXPLOSIVELY. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Do not smoke. Extinguish all flames and pilot lights and turn off stoves, heaters, electric motors and other sources of ignition during use and until all vapors are gone. Prevent build-up of vapors by opening all windows and doors to achieve cross-ventilation. USE ONLY WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION. Do not breathe dust, vapors or spray mist. Ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headache or dizziness, wear respiratory protection (NIOSH approved) or leave the area. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. FIRST AID: If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical attention immediately. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention; for skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water. Amazing
I bought a can of this for a friends hub caps on her pontiac g6. About 3 months ago she sprayed acid on her rims hoping to get all the road grime and brake dust off of them it was a terrible idea it took the plastic protective coating right off of them. This stuff brought the old hub caps back to life. They looked brand new!!! I had to do a little prep work sanding the hubcaps with 350 grit sandpaper. The outcome was amazing for the 5 bucks I spent for a can of this stuff!
